Filter Type: Paper
Grind: Medium/Fine
Brew Ratio: 1/16
Water Temperature: 92°-96° C
Extraction Time: 2.30 – 3.30 min

The V60 is a percolation extraction method that allows you to obtain a clean cup, with a clear definition of the aromas. Thanks to its conical shape and internal grooves, it guarantees an optimal flow of water and precise control over the preparation.

Method:

  1. Place the paper filter into the V60 dripper and rinse it with hot water to remove the paper taste and preheat the carafe or cup.
  2. Weigh the coffee and grind it to a medium/fine grain size. The standard ratio is 15 g of coffee per 250 ml of water (adjustable according to taste).
  3. Pour the ground coffee into the filter and shake gently to distribute it evenly.
  4. Bring the water to the desired temperature (92°-96° C).
  5. Blooming: Pour a small amount of water (about double the weight of the coffee) to saturate all the grounds and release the gases. Let stand for 30-45 seconds.
  6. Extraction: Continue pouring the water in a circular motion, starting from the center and moving outwards, maintaining a constant level and without touching the edges of the filter. Divide the water into several pours for optimal control (e.g. two or three pouring phases).
  7. Once you have finished pouring, wait for the water to pass completely through the coffee.
  8. Serve the coffee immediately and enjoy!
