Water Temperature: 92°-94° C

One of the most well-known and used filter extraction methods in the world. Unlike other extractions, it has the characteristic of having a good body and a pleasant consistency. However, this leads to a cup with suspended particles.

Method:

 1.     Preheat the French press

2.     Heat the water required between 92° and 94°C

3.     Grind the coffee medium coarse (24-27 Comandante) and add it to the coffee maker. Place the French press on a scale and make sure to wet all the grounds.

4.     Mix with a steel spoon.

5.     Insert the lid without pressing. Wait about four minutes.

6.     Press the plunger all the way down.

7.     Proceed with serving, taking care not to let sediment fall into the cup.
